THE LIGER’S DEN: To get the old normal back, we have to live with the new normal

Hey there, Liger Legionaries. It’s good to visit with ya’ll again.

Most of the time, you can catch me writing about my thoughts on sports, events around the community or how much I like professional wrestling, giant monster films or the cool places that I’ve covered games at. For once, in what seems like forever, I have to put on my serious hat when writing a column.

In the wake of this past Friday’s announcement of the first case of COVID-19 in Calhoun County, I felt like I need to get this off of my chest. Also, I wanted to provide a few thoughts.
