Lanesboro receives grant funds from Carroll County Community Foundation

Last year, the Lanesboro Shelter House received a new coat of paint, as part of the Paint Iowa Beautiful program. This year, the quiet town of more than 100 people will see more renovations made to the structure.

In a recent announcement, the Community Foundation of Carroll County awarded $3,000 to the City of Lanesboro for further improvements to the Lanesboro Shelter House. The City of Lanesboro was notified of their grant funds from Carroll County’s endowment program on Feb. 15.
