Lake City Union Church receives donation as part of Haul Out Hunger effort

IOWA FALLS – Over the past two weeks, the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation embarked on their annual effort to Haul Out Hunger across rural Iowa. Iowa Select Farms employees delivered more than 50,000 pounds of fresh, boneless pork loins to 94 rural food pantries.

In the August 3 news release, the Lake City Union Church Food Bank received 96 pork loins. Along with the fresh protein, 200 Henry’s Heroes boxes brought basic childhood needs to the food pantries.
