After the 9 p.m. deadline on Election Day, which took place on Nov. 5, there have been quite a few who kept a close eye on the results as they came from the Iowa Secretary of State's website.

The official results, provided by Calhoun County and the Board of Supervisors, will be officially released on Wednesday.

In Lake City, Mayor Tyler Holm had been successfully re-elected alongside council member Gary Bellinghausen.

Jessica Daniel will join the council, taking over for Mike Schleisman after his term expires.

Voters overwhelmingly approved South Central Calhoun’s Revenue Purpose Statement. The RPS garnered more than 80 percent of the vote.

Mayor Donny Hobbs continues his tenure in Lohrville, while council member Logan Mogler had been re-elected. Council member Lance Coon was formally elected, and Roger Berger will step in to replace the departing Lois Irwin.

Rockwell City saw the re-election of Nate Gentry, as Jonathon Wetter and Jerry Fowler join the council in place of the departing councilors Adam Reiss and Mark Lange, respectively.
