Titan softball team falls to Falcons in post-season opener

Post-season play began and also unfortunately ended for the 2017 South Central Calhoun Titans varsity softball team Wednesday, July 5, in the opening round of Class 2A, Region 2 softball action at Battle Creek. Host OA-BCIG topped the Titans 8-5 to end SCC’s season at 2-17 overall.

The game was moved from Monday, July 3, to Wednesday, July 5, due to a storm that rolled through Battle Creek around game time July 3.

SCC struck for three runs in the top of the first against the Falcons and added another run in the top of the second to lead 4-0 heading into the bottom of the second.
