Titan boys improve to 9-0 in TLC duals

South Central Calhoun’s varsity boys golf team improved to 9-0 in Twin Lakes Conference duals following its one stroke victory over East Sac County Thursday, May 4 at the Lake City Country Club as the Titans beat the Raiders 171 to 172.
The Titans had four golfers scored a 44 or lower to edge out the Raiders despite not having earned the top two positions for the day. Jonas Otto and Tyler O’Tool finished with a 42 each while Kyler Steinborn had a 43 and Matt Toms rounded out the team score of 171 with a 44. In addition, Jacob Schultz finished with a 46 and Micah Lantz had a 48 for SCC.
East Sac County’s Dylan Scheffler was meet medalists May 4 with a 39 while Josh Halbur had a 40. The Raiders other two counting scores were made by Jordan Werner (46) and Brian Grace (47).
