Sen. Grassley tours SMCH, conducts Q&A session
By the time U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) had made it to Lake City, he had traversed 12 counties in the span of three days.
So far into his annual 99 Counties tour, he had visits and held town hall-style meetings in 77 of the 99 divisions within the state of Iowa.
On the third leg of his tour de force, which began with a meeting at Waldorf University in Forest City and in Pocahontas, Senator Grassley stopped in Lake City last Wednesday afternoon to tour Stewart Memorial Community Hospital before holding a Q&A session with various members of the hospital staff and the community.
