Supervisors wrap up fiscal year, pass six transfer resolutions

With the 2018-2019 fiscal year winding down, the Board of Supervisors of Calhoun County put the nose to the grindstone in their latest regular meeting held on June 25 at the Calhoun County Courthouse in Rockwell City.
Over the course of the meeting, the board – Mike Cooper, Carl Legore and Scott Jacobs – approved usage of the Courthouse Square for Sweet Corn Daze and the upcoming CyHawk Block Party, selected an attorney to help the county with pending litigation from landowners in Twin Lakes, addressed the Calhoun County Commission of Veteran Affairs and pushed through six transfer resolutions.
Five of the six resolutions dealt with moving funds over to the Secondary Roads Fund.
