SCC Wrestling fairs well in long week

South Central Calhoun Wrestling participated in two quads and a tournament this week. The Titans went 2-1 on Dec. 4 and 2-1 on Thursday.
The team finished second overall in the Kingsbury Invite in Mapleton on Friday with 194 points, just seven points behind tournament champions Southeast Valley.
SCC took on East Sac County, Ridge View and hosting team Humboldt on Dec. 4. The Titans handled Ridge View in a 57-21 victory, getting five pins in the dual.
East Sac County proved a tougher challenge, as SCC survives the dual with a score of 39-33.
