SCC wrestlers beat Okoboji, Woodbury Central at home

South Central Calhoun’s varsity wrestling team picked up a pair of dual victories over non-conference opponents while narrowly dropping a conference dual on the same evening as the squad hosted a quadrangular dual meet Tuesday, Dec. 19 in Rockwell City. The Titans picked up a 42-39 victory over Okoboji and topped Woodbury Central 39-33 while falling to Alta-Aurelia 42-40 to go 2-1 on the evening.
The Titans opened up the evening against the Warriors and SCC wrestlers picking up victories in the TLC dual were Keagan King, Jacob Stephenson, Hunter Voith, Jordan Khommanyvong, Tanner Fistler, Chase McAlister and Brody Goodman.
Against Okoboji, earning victories for SCC were Ayden Toms, Khommanyvong, McAlister, Goodman, Josh Van Hulzen, Tristan Patterson and Brian King.
