SCC netters beat Cougars, 3-1

South Central Calhoun’s varsity volleyball team remained undefeated in Twin Lakes Conference regular season matches by improving to 10-0 in the league following a 3-1 victory at home in Lake City over Manson Northwest Webster Thursday, Sept. 28. Match scores were SCC in four games 25-13, 25-16, 22-25 and 25-20.
Maddie Jones had six aces for the Titans as she was 25-for-28 serving against the Cougars. She added a team-high 18 digs.
Leading SCC in kills was senior Hannah Seil with 12 to go with three blocks and three ace serves on 15-for-16 serving. Teammate Teylor Anderson had 10 kills and 32 assists while collecting nine digs defensively.
