For more than 65 years, the phrase of “it’s all in the genes” is used quite often. The phrase, along with “a part of the DNA” can be used for anything from a positive corporate image to how a sports team can weave itself into the fabric of a community.
It can be taken a bit literally in this instance, in the case with Chloe Judisch, who is a seventh grader at South Central Calhoun Middle School in Rockwell City.
Chloe showed off her blazing speed and future track star potential at the Mike Henderson Junior High State Track Meet on May 4 at Ankeny Stadium, winning the 400-meter run and the 800-meter run at the meet.
Chloe won the seventh grade, small school 400-meter race with a time of 1:05.18 and topped the competition in the seventh grade, small school side of the 800-meter event with a time of 2:34.15.
