SCC baseball team beats Falcons, Raiders

The South Central Calhoun varsity baseball team (7-6) went 2-1 in games and had another of its games suspended due to inclement weather. The Titans most recently defeated East Sac County Friday, June 15 in a conference contest by a 11-1 final in five innings. SCC traveled to Ida Grove to take on OA-BICG Thursday, June 14, and won 12-9. The Titans hosted Pocahontas Area Wednesday, June 13 in Lytton for a conference contest and lost 9-2.
The Titans opened up the week at Alta, and led 2-1 in the fourth inning before the game was suspended due to weather as a make-up date for the contest against the Warriors has not be finalized yet.
