For those who have wanted to ride around Rockwell City in their all-terrain vehicles, off-road utility vehicles and golf carts on the city’s streets finally saw their efforts pay off.
After two years of dialogue with numerous residents, the City Council of Rockwell City passed Ordinance 367 – which permits operation of all-terrain vehicles, off-road utility vehicles and golf carts on the streets and alleyways of Rockwell City – in their latest meeting on August 5 at City Hall in Rockwell City.
The details of the new ordinance are available in the legals section of The Graphic-Advocate and also available upon request at the City Hall of Rockwell City.
Along with approving the new ordinance, the council held a public hearing for the State Revolving Fund for the Twin Lakes Connection project, approved repairs for Warner Street and Court Street by Southside Grocery, discussed the Dangerous and Vicious Animal concerns with Rockwell City Police Chief Larry Schoop and set dates for upcoming city events.
