Opportunity Living rolling out improvements to client housing

A half-million renovation project making changes and improvements to Opportunity Living client housing is about halfway done.
The first of the housing units, in each of which eight clients live, was remodeled in May. Subsequently, two other houses have been finished, with work starting last month on the fourth. In all, eight of the organization’s nine housing units will undergo the renovations, Community Relations Coordinator Liz Meyer said.
Some of the changes are immediately visible. In House D, located on Lake City’s east side, freshly painted walls in the common areas greet visitors, as do new decorations and new carpet.
