Nicholson receives Harding-Roth Family 4-H Scholarship

AMES – Jacob Nicholson from Calhoun County was awarded the Harding-Roth Family 4-H Scholarship through the Iowa 4-H Foundation at the recognition ceremony on June 2 at the Scheman Building on the campus of Iowa State University.
The Iowa 4-H Foundation has announced the recipients of over 100 Iowa 4-H scholarships valued at more than $115,000.
Nicholson was among the recipients who accepted their awards on June 2 at the Foundation’s scholarship recognition ceremony. More than 400 applications were submitted and scholarships have been awarded to recipients from 50 counties across the state of Iowa with a wide variety of 4-H experiences.
Nicholson will be an incoming freshman this fall at Iowa State University, majoring in finance. Throughout high school, he has held a variety leadership positions in his local FFA and 4-H clubs. Each of these experiences has helped him to be an active citizen in his community and develop his leadership potential.
