Macke leads SCC at 2018 TLC meet

Payton Macke of the 2018 South Central Calhoun varsity girls golf squad led the Titans at the 2018 Twin Lakes Conference Tournament at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course north of Fort Dodge Monday, April 30 as she placed tied tenth overall with a 104 to earn all-conference honors. Overall, the Titans were seventh as a team with 455 strokes for the 18-hole tournament.
Also competing for the Titan girls at the TLC meet were Kaylynn Kruckenberg with a 112, Mariah Pagel with a 116, Faith Wagner with a 123, Kenzie Addison with a 125 and Tiffany Poen with a 133.
Overall individual TLC girls champion was Annika Patton of Alta-Aurelia with an 80 while Delaney Conrad of Southeast Valley was runner-up with an 85. The team championship went to Alta-Aurelia with a 385. Newell-Fonda was second with a 414 and Emmetsburg was third with a 434.
