Up on the bandstand in the Lake City square, Councilwoman Tami Green asked one question of each of the Little Miss and Little Mister contestants Sunday afternoon.
“What is your favorite part of fall?” Green asked the children.
Their answers centered on a theme, the universal experience of jumping in piles of raked leaves.
Green and Calhoun County Queen Haley Schumacher conferred briefly before naming Zoie Daniel this year’s Little Miss, and picking lone boy contestant Eligh Blankenship as the 2018 Little Mister.
