Lake City council tabs Lake City Public Library as alternate polling location for fall elections
Building permits and the approval of the Lake City Public Library as the alternate polling place were the highlights of the City Council of Lake City’s latest regular session, held on April 1 at the City Hall Chambers.
Along with the library getting the nod as a place to vote, the council got busy during its 40 minutes in session by approving two garage building permits, one fence permit, use of fireworks by Top Rail Saddle Club during Western Days.
After coming to order and approving the agenda, claims and permits, the city council approved building permits for two garages.
One of the garages is located off of South Center Street, while the other will be built off of Evergreen Drive.
