Lake City Council approves Brick and Mortar loan for Lake City Food Center

Lake City Food Center is the latest beneficiary of a program the Lake City Council began a few years ago to help established businesses.
Eric Peterson, owner of the grocery store, appeared before the City Council on the fourth anniversary of arriving in Lake City to take over running the store. He was seeking a Brick and Mortar Loan, a program that provides no-interest loans to city businesses to help with infrastructure improvements.
