The Graphic-Advocate to temporarily shift to remote work

To our subscribers and supporters,

A few weeks ago, we formulated a story titled “Better Safe Than Sorry” to recap the initial closings made by the South Central Calhoun Community School District, the offices of Calhoun County and recommendations made by Gov. Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Public Health. Now, more than ever, we are also following through on those words.

For your protection and ours, we will be working from home through the COVID-19 situation, as of Monday, March 30, and until further notice.

However, this will not prevent us from still being amongst the communities we serve and our continuance to provide you with local news, feature stories and sports. Editions of The Graphic-Advocate will still be distributed to homes and area businesses via mail or delivery.

You can also pick up the latest edition of The Graphic-Advocate at your local Sparky’s, Casey’s General Stores, the Rockwell City Country Store, the Lake City Food Center and Lake City Hardware & Gifts.

Even though our office is closed, we are still available through phone and email. You can call our office at (712) 464-3188, contact Tyler at (641) 229-5188 or reach out to Toni at (712) 210-2177. You can also email us at lcgraphic@iowatelecom.net, gaeditor@windstream.net and toni.venteicher4@gmail.com

The news never rests, and neither shall we. Thank you for your cooperation, and we wish for you to stay safe and healthy. We’ll pull through this together.

Sincerely,

The Graphic-Advocate Staff
