Birks, Welander to take part in Iowa Shrine All-Star Football Classic

Since 1973, the Iowa Shrine All-Star Football Classic has been a staple of the state’s football landscape. This season, two SCC student-athletes in senior Jared Birks and junior Raegan Welander will take part in the illustrious all-star game’s latest iteration.
Birks will play for the North Squad at the game, set for July 20 at the UNI-Dome on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, while Welander will be on the sidelines for the All-Star Cheerleading team.
