Come December, children start talking about Santa. Who is he? How does he deliver all those presents? And, most importantly, what is the jolly old elf going to bring to them?
A group of South Central Calhoun second-grade students sat down with The Graphic-Advocate recently to offer their theories about how the holiday magic happens.
It all starts, Lila Ferry said, with presents.
“He sends out presents every night, when children are asleep,” Lila said.
But, Noah Blair chimed in, not every child will wake up to a fun gift from Santa. “Not every house,” he said. “Only the nice ones.”
Those kids in naughty houses will end up with coal. Everyone agreed on that.
