Democratic Party lists locations for Iowa Caucuses
DES MOINES – On Feb. 3, Iowans will head to their caucus locations to vote for their candidate of choice.
The Democratic Party listed its Calhoun County locations for the upcoming Iowa Caucuses, in a Jan. 24 news release. In Calhoun County, there are eight locations to partake in the caucuses.
The doors open at 6 p.m., and one must be in line by 7 p.m. There is no admittance after 7 p.m.
The Butler and Williams townships will meet at the Pomeroy Community Room, while three townships – Calhoun, Elm Grove and Lake City – will meet at the South Central Calhoun High School Auditorium in Lake City.
The Lohrville City Hall will see three townships come in, with Cedar, Reading and Union. Cedar voters are to report to City Hall A, Reading is to go to City Hall B and Union is instructed to report to City Hall C.
The Calhoun County Courthouse A-room will be the meeting place for Center, Logan, Twin Lakes, Garfield and Lake Creek townships, while Calhoun County Courthouse B will see Rockwell City voters meet.
Calhoun County Courthouse C will have those who reside in the Sherman Township.
