After the 9 p.m. deadline on Election Day, which took place on Nov. 5, there have been quite a few who kept a close eye on the results as they came from the Iowa Secretary of State's website.

The official results, provided by Calhoun County and the Board of Supervisors, will be officially released on Wednesday.

In Lake City, Mayor Tyler Holm had been successfully re-elected alongside council member Gary Bellinghausen.

Jessica Daniel will join the council, taking over for Mike Schleisman after his term expires.

Voters overwhelmingly approved South Central Calhoun’s Revenue Purpose Statement. The RPS garnered more than 80 percent of the vote.

Judy Hungate, Roger McKinney and Jason Hawkins are re-elected to the SCC school board. Chris Green joins them, joining the Board of Directors after Alan Wedemeyer's term expires.

Mayor Donny Hobbs continues his tenure in Lohrville, while council member Logan Mogler had been re-elected. Council member Lance Coon was formally elected, and Roger Berger will step in to replace the departing Lois Irwin.

Rockwell City saw the re-election of Nate Gentry, as Jonathon Wetter and Jerry Fowler join the council in place of the departing councilors Adam Reiss and Mark Lange, respectively.

Dave Anderson became the Mayor-Elect of Manson, and will take over for long-time Mayor Dave George. For At-Large seats on the Manson City Council, Jesse Grossnickle and Lonny Nimke won spots out of a field of five candidates.

Pomeroy re-elected Mayor Brian Meyer alongside councilors Steve Wykoff, Cathy Charleston and Brett Holtorf and brought on John Hudgens.

Somers saw Terry Vote defeat Rodney Scott in the mayoral race. Kevin Van Every, Tom Beacom, Dan Goodwin, Vicki Chase and Richard Martin all garnered seats on the Somers City Council.
