SCC introduces online registration for parents

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and embracing technology, the South Central Calhoun Community School District is offering a digital option for school registration.
SCC started its online registration this past Monday, which will go through August 7. The digital process is new for the 2020-2021 school year, with an online payment option in addition to a standard written check option.
To register your student online, you can visit www.scc.k12.ia.us. The registration information is available in a link on the website’s front page.
Open houses for SCC Elementary and SCC Middle School are set for August 20. The elementary open house is set for 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and the junior high’s open house will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The first day of school is August 24. The first day of preschool is on August 27.
