Mary Pratt

Mary Pratt, 92, died on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021 at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, at Lampe & Powers Funeral Home in Lake City with burial in the Lake City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Lampe & Powers Funeral Home.

Mary Martha Peterson was born on Dec. 25, 1928 in Stanhope, to Lloyd and Martha (Lestina) Peterson. She graduated from Stanhope High School in 1947. She attended trade school and worked at Mutual of Omaha in Nebraska for a few years then moved to Lake City. On October 21, 1951, Mary married Clifford Pratt in Boone. She was a member of the Lake City Union Church and Ladies Circle; and she enjoyed bird watching, reading and gardening.

Mary is survived by her sons Randy (Carol) Pratt of Lake City and Brian Pratt of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren Jason, Betsy and Sara Pratt all of Texas; and brother Jim Peterson of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Martha Peterson; and husband Clifford in 1995.
