Ann Engstrom
MOTTO TO LIVE BY:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, 'WHOO HOO, what a ride!'"
– Hunter S. Thompson
Ann Elizabeth Engstrom, age 61, died on Sept. 5, 2020 in hospice care at Longmont United Hospital, Longmont, Colorado after an extended battle with gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Naomi (Speicher) Engstrom and brother-in-law, Kim Remsburg. She is survived by her husband, Mark Weinberg of Longmont, Colorado and siblings Tom (Linda) Engstrom of Mankato, Minnesota, Teresa (Jere Blanchfield) Engstrom of Minneapolis, David (Mary) Engstrom of Webster City, Iowa, Dawn Remsburg of Ames, Iowa and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Ann loved training her dogs, horticulture as a hobby and a job, and the great outdoors to swim, bike, run, or hike. Ann’s life was cut short, but she knew how to pack it full of fun and excitement. She had an incredible life. Her positive spirit made a difference for many, and she will be missed by friends and family alike.
