Trott sentenced to life

This morning at the Rockwell City Courthouse, Corey Allen Trott was sentenced to life without parole for the 2013 shooting death of Rockwell City Police Officer Jamie Buenting. Before the sentencing, Buenting's family read impact statements and Trott requested and was denied a new trial. See next week's paper for the full story.
