Titans earn several post-season honors in district football for 2015

The 2015 Class 1A, District 7 champion South Central Calhoun Titans varsity football team, who finished 6-0 in the district and 10-2 overall for 2015, earned several honors as the all-district team selections were recently released. The Titans had a total of 15 players recognized on the district squad as well as 12 players named to the all-academic team from the district.
Highlighting the top honors for the Titans included Class 1A, District 7 Offensive Most Valuable Player honors going to SCC junior Kody Case and head coach Bryan Case was named the Coach of the Year in the district as well.
Eight Titans landed on the first team all-district squad. On the offensive side, quarterback Derrick Henkenius, running back Cyle King, receiver Kody Case and offensive lineman Tyler Jones were selected. Henkenius and Case were unanimous first team offensive selections on the team.
