Titans battle E-Hawks, MNW in Barnum

South Central Calhoun’s varsity wrestling team took on Twin Lakes Conference foes Emmetsburg and Manson Northwest Webster in varsity dual action Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Against Emmetsburg, SCC fell to the E-Hawks 54-18 while against the rival Cougars, MNW defeated the Titans 60-24.
In the dual versus Emmetsburg, SCC’s Ayden Toms (113), Jordan Khommanyvong (132), Chase McAlister (145) and Brody Goodman (160) were victorious. In the dual against MNW, Brian King (220), Khommanyvong (132), McAlister (145) and Goodman (160) all earned victories.
