To prep for their upcoming spring season, the South Central Calhoun girls’ track and field team also went inside this past weekend, joining the boys in a trek up to the campus of Buena Vista University.

The Titans claimed six top 10 finishes, as they participated in the BVU High School Elite Track & Field Meet, held this past Friday at the Lamberti Recreation Center in Storm Lake.

Two of those top 10 showings were in the field events, led by junior Kaylynn Ridgely. Next up for the SCC girls will be the first outdoor meet of the 2019 season, as the Titans will host the Chelsey Henkenius Early Bird Meet at 4:30 p.m. on March 25 at SCC High School Stadium in Lake City.
