It was a busy and productive week for the South Central Calhoun varsity boys golf team last week as the Titans had four meets throughout the week and produced a 4-1 record overall in those outings.
The week began Monday, April 25, as the Titans hosted Manson Northwest Webster at the Lake City Country Club, and SCC prevailed 160 to 206. Meet medalist for the event was SCC’s Conner Ludwig with a 38 and teammate Jonas Otto was runner-up with a 39. Teammates Colin Carlson (41) and Micah Lantz (42) rounded out the team score in the win over the Cougars.
The following evening, the Titans traveled to Pocahontas and took on the Indians at Pocahontas Golf Club Tuesday, April 26, and SCC beat PAC/L-M 165 to 176. Again, Ludwig and Otto were medalists for the Titans as both scored a 39. Cyle King (42) and Tyler O’Tool also counted towards the final tally for the Titans against PAC/L-M.
