Titan boys fourth at 2018 TLC golf meet

South Central Calhoun’s varsity boys golf team was fourth overall at the 2018 Twin Lakes Conference Golf Tournament held at Lake Creek Country Club near Storm Lake Monday, April 30.
The Titans had three all-conference tournament team medalists at the meet and finished with 392 strokes for the 18-hole event. Tying for eighth place individually for SCC was Kyler Steinborn with a 92 to earn all-conference medalists honors along with teammates Jacob Schultz and Jacob Nicholson, who both tied with one other golfer for 15th place overall with a score of 97 each.
Also competing for the South Central Calhoun boys squad at the conference meet were Sam Musselman, who finished 36th with a 106. Matthew Clark, who placed tied for 42nd with a 111, and teammate Zane Neubaum, who was 47th individually with a 113.
