Even with the improving weather, the South Central Calhoun boys’ track team went into the great indoors in the second of their three-meet indoor track schedule. This time, the Titans didn’t have to travel too far, making an easy trip to the heart of Buena Vista County.

The Titans had a strong showing with eight top 10 finishes at the Buena Vista University High School Elite Track & Field Meet, held this past weekend at the Lamberti Recreation Center in Storm Lake.

In those eight top 10 finishes, half of those showings were top five performances.

Next up for SCC will be the Iowa State High School Indoor Classic, which was held on Tuesday at the Lied Recreation Center on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames. Results from the boys only meet will be reported in an upcoming edition of The Graphic-Advocate.
