Titan baseball team now 7-9 overall

The South Central Calhoun varsity baseball team moved to 7-9 overall following action last week. SCC opened the week with a 6-0 setback in Lytton Monday, June 12 to Alta-Aurelia in Twin Lakes Conference play. The Titans then fell at Pocahontas Wednesday, June 14 to PAC/L-M by a 11-0 loss in five innings in TLC play. SCC then faced OA-BCIG in Lytton Thursday, June 15, and topped the Falcons by a 9-6 final. SCC’s fourth game of the week, against East Sac County in Lytton Friday, June 16, was suspended due to weather and will be completed in Sac City June 30.
Alta-Aurelia 6, SCC 0
The Titans managed only three hits off of Alta-Aurelia’s Alex Snyder June 12 in Lytton as the Warriors beat SCC 6-0.
