SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SCC FFA CHAPTER

Twenty Eight FFA members prepared 350 ham and cheese sack lunches with water last October for farmers and harvest workers at the seven different locations of NEW at Lohrville, NEW at Lanesboro, NEW at Rands, Landus at Rockwell City, Landus at Lytton, Landus at Yetter and Landus at Lake City.
The SCC FFA had a chili soup benefit on December 22, 2017 at the Basketball game for our won FFA member, Jacy McAlexander where the community helped raise $1521.00 to help battle cancer.
Nine Seniors out of 17 rose to the top to apply and earn the highly honored Iowa FFA degree. These members where Chris Larson, Jessica Hicks, Sam Corey, Tanner Macke, Tanner Fistler, Tiffany Pen, Heath Walters, Chase Pibal and Shiloh Meyer.
The chapter provided $4,300 in scholarship money to 13 members who received Iowa Degrees last year ($300 each) and for 4 who applied from the chapter degree ($100 each) to be received on their 2nd semester of college with a set of transcript and a thank you to the chapter.
