Supervisors pass underground construction permits, discuss Drainage District 46

Underground Construction Permits, along with updates and discussions concerning Drainage District 46, were the hot topics at the Board of Supervisors of Calhoun County’s latest meeting, which took place on July 30 at the Calhoun County Courthouse in Rockwell City.
The supervisors reviewed and approved two Underground Construction Permits, situated off of County Round N-37 within the Elm Grove Township in western Calhoun County. The board was also updated on the work done to Drainage District 46 and the potential challenges going forward.
Over the course of the meeting, the supervisors reviewed timesheets, approved reports and granted a fireworks permit to the Rockwell City Chamber & Development for Sweet Corn Daze this past Saturday.
