Supervisors approve permit for Twin Lakes Connection project

The Twin Lakes Connection project between Rockwell City and Twin Lakes cleared another, much easier hurdle. This latest approval came from the Calhoun County Board of Supervisors, which highlighted their latest meeting held on August 13 at the Calhoun County Courthouse in Rockwell City.
The project, which will link up Twin Lakes Utilities with the Rockwell City water distribution system, also had favorable results from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, who concluded that the project leaves no significant impact to the surrounding environment. That announcement was made on August 8.
The board also met with various county officials, and were provided various reports.
