Titan golfers top Southeast Valley, St. Mary’s, Alta-Aurelia
The South Central Calhoun boys’ golf team is rolling right now.
The Titans continued to impress in their latest venture to the links, defeating the likes of Southeast Valley, Alta-Aurelia and St. Mary’s of Storm Lake on April 8 at the Lake City Country Club.
SCC finished first in the quad with 194 strokes, followed by Southeast Valley’s 208 strokes, Alta-Aurelia’s 209 strokes and St. Mary’s 211 strokes. In the junior varsity realm, the Titans hauled in a total of 217 strokes, as Alta-Aurelia placed second with 238 strokes and was followed by Southeast Valley’s 265 strokes.
From defeating three teams, the Titans’ varsity squad kept an unblemished 6-0 record with an unbeaten 5-0 mark in Twin Lakes Conference action. The junior varsity is 5-1 overall, with a 4-1 TLC record.
