Singin' In The Big Apple

New York, New York. Its nicknames include “The City That Never Sleeps,” “The City of Dreams” and “The City So Nice, They Named It Twice.”
It’s a beacon for showbiz and entertainment, as its bright lights and tall buildings draw in many people to its five boroughs – with unlimited dreams and aspirations. Many visitors tend to remember when they visited the metropolis – where they went, what they have seen and what did they while spending time in “The City.”

For South Central Calhoun graduate and current Iowa State University student Mitchell Clark, it was an experience of a lifetime.
Mitchell, along with 199 voices presenting the Iowa State Choir and the Iowa State University Symphony Orchestra, performed during the Gotham SINGS! Collegiate Showcase, held on April 21 at the Stern Auditorium and Perelman Stage in Carnegie Hall.
