The tradition of excellence within the South Central Calhoun football program continues, and senior lineman Jacob Schrage is the latest in the line of Titan football players to hone his craft on the college stage.
Schrage will compete at the next level, committing to play football for Grand View University in a signing ceremony held last Wednesday morning at the South Central Calhoun High School Gymnasium.
For Jacob, it was a goal realized. “It’s pretty nice, I’ve always dreamed of playing college football,” Schrage said following the ceremony. “When I was younger, I always wanted to play for Iowa. Things change, but I’m still happy where I ended up.”
According to SCC head football coach Bryan Case, it was a great day for Jacob and the Titan football team.
