SCC teacher authors children’s book

Sara Stevens had a little song she liked to sing to her children.

In it, she reminded them she would love them, all the time.

“One night, I was reading one of their good night stories and I thought, ‘The song could be a book,’” said Stevens, a Scranton resident who teaches fourth grade at South Central Calhoun Middle School.

Stevens didn’t know much about publishing, so she headed online.

“I googled publishing companies,” she said. “I requested an author packet from Covenant Books.”
