Is there one more impressive stat for the South Central Calhoun softball team? Before the 2018-2019 sports calendar closes and the 2019-2020 opens, there’s one more accolade for the Titans in the form of the Twin Lakes Conference Softball Sportsmanship Ratings.

For the South Central Calhoun baseball team, the latest TLC Baseball Sportsmanship Ratings are not as friendly.

Released on July 29, the SCC softball team topped their conference mates in the TLC while the SCC baseball team was handed the seventh spot in the rankings. This ratings system, which averages evaluations from players, coaches, students and fans, is formulated from officials representing the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Despite a team’s place on the standings, the margin is mere slivers, as all teams in the baseball ratings is generally regarded as excellent in the ratings’ point scale.
