SCC lands 19 on all-district football team

The 2017 South Central Calhoun varsity football team landed a total of 19 players on the 2017 Class 2A, District 7 All-District Team. The Titans, who finished 7-0 in the district this fall, also garnered three of the overall honors including junior Chase McAlister being named the Offensive Player of the Year, Head Coach Bryan Case was named the Head Coach of the Year and SCC assistant coach Curt Batta earned Assistant Coach of the Year honors.
The Titans had nine players named to the 2A, D7 First Team including seniors Tyler Jones, Hunter Muhlbauer, Tanner Macke, Joey Schrage, Jonathon Frantz Jered Campbell and Shiloh Meyer and juniors Chase McAlister and Jared Birks.
Second Team honors for SCC went to senior Kyler Steinborn, juniors Hunter Riedesel, Jacob Schrage and Kody Kutz and sophomores Josh Henkenius and Zane Neubaum, who earned Second Team Kicker honors.
Honorable mention selections for South Central Calhoun included seniors Tanner Fistler and Colten Morenz and sophomores Brian King and Landon Scheisman.
