South Central Calhoun’s varsity girls track team scored 199 team points in route to the teams first meet championship of the season last Friday, April 11, at the Raider Relays Co-Ed meet held in Sac City.

“We are thrilled with the team win and even more thrilled that we performed
well in many events,” said SCC head girls track coach Brian Knapp of the Titans effort at the Raider Relays in Sac City. “Granted, it was a smaller meet, but the competition was decent and we set a couple of school and meet records along the way.”

The Titans posted a new school record and a new meet record in winning the distance medley relay at the event, which was one of many highlights of the night for SCC. The team of Maria Dischler, Haley Birks, Ashley Henkenius and Mady Dick raced to a winning and record time of 4 minutes, 32.10 seconds to win the distance medley relay.
