SCC Elementary students take to the field

South Central Calhoun Elementary School students ran, jumped, slid and bobbed through obstacles at the annual Field Day May 15. Hundreds of friends and relatives filled the stands at the middle school track to watch the children take on the many challenges, starting with the foot races. Children cheered on their classmates, practiced teamwork and hopped in plastic bags in the various contests, under gray skies.
