SCC baseball team improves to 5-5 overall

With a pair of conference victories last week, the South Central Calhoun varsity baseball team upped its record to 5-5 overall and is now 5-0 in Twin Lakes Conference play as the Titans earned a 2-1 victory over Manson Northwest Webster June 4 and a 13-3 victory at Emmetsburg June 8.

This week, SCC is at Alta-Aurelia Monday, June 11 while hosting Pocahontas Area Wednesday, June 13 then heads to Ida Grove Thursday, June 14 to take on OA-BCIG while closing out the week at Sac City against rival East Sac County Friday, June 15.

Next week, SCC hosts St. Mary’s of Storm Lake Monday, June 18, then is at Fonda Wednesday, June 20 against Newell-Fonda before closing out the week at home against Southeast Valley Friday, June 22.
