SCC baseball team goes 3-1 last week

South Central Calhoun went 3-1 last week in varsity baseball action as the Titans picked up victories over St. Mary’s, Newell-Fonda and Glidden-Ralston while falling to Southeast Valley to close out the week. The Titans are now 10-10 overall and are 4-5 in the Twin Lakes Conference as the team has six games remaining on its regular season schedule.
This week SCC will be at Westside against Ar-We-Va for a varsity only contest at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, then SCC hosts Southeast Valley for a non-conference contest Thursday, June 29, and on Friday, June 30 at Sac City, SCC will complete the unfinished contest against the East Sac County Raiders which was suspended June 16 to conclude TLC conference play and also play a non-conference contest against the Raiders that night as well.
Next week, SCC will host Coon Rapids-Bayard in Lytton Monday, July 3, and will be at Manilla against IKM-Manning Wednesday, July 5. The regular season finale for the Titans is at Jefferson against Greene County Thursday, July 6.
