Following their special meeting on the Twin Lakes Consecutive Connection project, the City Council of Rockwell City unanimously approved the agreement in its latest regular meeting on May 6 at City Hall.
With Rockwell City’s stamp of approval, Twin Lakes met this past Tuesday to approve their end of the connection agreement. The connection project has been in motion for both Rockwell City and Twin Lakes since 2014.
The highlights of the meeting included giving the okay for the closure of 4th Street from Court to Main for the summer concert series hosted by Rockwell City Revitalization, giving the thumbs up for the Nick Hildreth Memorial Clinic Fun Run and Basketball Tournament and approving raises for two employees of the Rockwell City Public Library.
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m., followed by the approval of minutes, bills and licenses – including outdoor license for the summer concert series, held on May 31, June 14, July 5 and July 19.
